JAM COMPLETE! The Go Fast, Goblin prototype is live and out in the world.
Woohoo! I'm deliriously tired, but happy to announce that my entry for the 8th Game Dev Unlocked Game Jam is exported and live for all to see.
Here's my initial description:
"You are a goblin and you have to go fast. In this fast-paced, first-person parkour platformer, you have to reach the top of the tower before the timer runs out. What happens when the timer runs out? You die. "
We had a week to complete a little gamejam project to fit the theme "Anti-Cozy" and I spent as much time in that week as I could spare from real life in Unreal Engine 5 making my first Unreal project.
What's not cozy? Going really fast in an obnoxious pocket dimension with a huge timer ticking down in front of your face, that's what!
I appreciate any constructive feedback folks have - I have a ton of fun playing this, and if other people dig it I'd definitely consider turning it into a full game.
I also released the soundtrack for it, which you can download alongside the game project.
